"Solar in a jar" for "dummys"
For MeteoHub. As simple as effective.
- As with any "solar in a jar" idea, place an
additional thermometer in a glass jar in a sunny place.
- Create in Meteohub a virtual sensor "sol0" give
it a name and trigger your "jar"-sensor (th2 in my case). In the
textbox "conversion" type: "sensdiffmaster 1 300". Presse the
save button.
-
Createa second virtual sensor also "sol0" with the same name as your first
virtual sensor. Trigger your normal outside thermometer (in my case
th0) In the textbox "conversion" type: "sensdiffslave 1 300" . Presse
the save button.
- The conversion calculates the difference between both thempretures
-
Adjust your solarsensor in "settings"
-
The values can be diffrent for your solarsensor. Just try differtent values.
-
Compare your W/qm data (on a sunny day!) with this solar calculator and adjust factor (a) if necessary.
Now you have a "real" solarsensor with all the variables of it in
"all-sensor.xml" witch you can use for output like this and more.
Success and have fun with it!
